In a recent feature article for Illinois Real Estate Journal, HSA PrimeCare President John Wilson appeared to discuss the migration of healthcare real estate into more suburban regions, especially in the Chicagoland area.
Wilson touched on various factors driving this increasing demand, such as aging population, rising outpatient care, and decentralization from hospitals to more community-based locations. “Growth is evident in both urban and suburban areas,” he said. “Two of HSA PrimeCare’s focus areas for development activity are the Chicago suburban markets and Northwest Indiana.”
Some of HSA PrimeCare’s more recent developments in these two regions include Silver Cross Medical Pavilion D in New Lenox, IL, which opened in the spring of 2020, and the planned Beacon Hill Medical Pavilion in Crown Point, IN.
